Arden Wohl graduated with a degree from New York University’s Kanbar Institute of Film & Television-one of the most premiere programs in the world. Most recently, Arden co-produced In God We Trust, a documentary feature film about Bernie Madoff that will premiere at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. Admired by the fashion community, Arden is a style icon and regularly graces the pages of Vogue, NY Times, Numero, Instyle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Style.com. Because of her unique point of view and distinct downtown style, she has been a muse and has collaborated with some of the world’s most coveted designers, including Miu Miu, Proenza Schouler, Imitation of Christ, and VPL. Eclectic yet tasteful, the socialite has also been featured in several fashion guides, including Amanda Brook’s I Love Your Style, and was a wardrobe inspiration for the character Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, who went on to be ranked as one of the best-dressed characters on television. Today, Arden serves as a voice for a variety of non-profit organizations. She is committed to the aid and prevention of the sexual exploitation of young women and children, as she currently serves on the board for the Nest Foundation, and also volunteers at GEMS, Girl’s Education and Mentoring Services.
Arden Wohl joins us to talk about fashion, Cri de Coeur, and style inspiration from Jane Goodall in an uncensored conversation with Harper Simon. Removing yourself from the meat producing world, vegan friendly products, biodegradable “natural” shoes, and the GEMS mentoring program for young women is shared with Harper Simon on TALK SHOW.
